Gifted children are cognitively advanced, but emotionally they are often at age level. I'm starting this group in order to give our children playmates who are on their level, or at least nearer to it. This group will be best suited to children under 11. My daughter is nearly 4 (in 4/11), so I'm particularly hoping for gifted children from 2-6 yrs of age. As this group grows we can, if it seems like a good idea, sort the kids into groups by age.

Has your child reached developmental milestones shockingly early? Is s/he far out of synch with chronological peers, perhaps in some areas ahead of kids 2x her/his age?
